Ok, just signed up as casual player and this is what I see.
1st I'm putting up the pictures of the options under the My Account section.

Now this is the Current Events page that I see as a casual player here at LSPN and the events option page.
And I tried the check boxes different ways and inside game only shows Free events. Since I can see official & arcade here and have boxes checked/unchecked I still only get Free events in the game.

Now when I go into the game I only see the 4 free events, 2 at the 1.05 conditions and 2 at challenging

Now having all the boxes checked here for Official/Arcade and Leagues as a casual player I only get the free events in game.
I assume upgrading to Arcade Player gets me into and the use of the arcade. And going to Tour Player gets me into Official and League Events. Then Tour Director allows you to run your own league.
I thought at 1 time as a casual player the only option you had on current events option was the Free box was the only box you could check and the others were blacked out.

As a casual player, these are the only tourneys you will see inside Links.

Thanks,I'm aware, my point being the website shouldn't show all the events if your a casual player.

The Tour Player renewal is $10 now, just so people don't get confused by the erroneous post by pmgolf. I have no clue what his post said, but the prices have changed from Gibby's original post.

If you have no clue what my post said (from 11 months ago), why would people get confused by my erroneous post? I do know that I was never confused about the prices - they're in plain english. I also know that I make some posts that aren't erroneous - occasionally. I don't understand why you're trying to stir up trouble with me. Did I kick your dog or something?

Sorry about that, Pete. There was a new post, in this thread that was here when I saw that there was one. Something had to be amiss with the board, because it showed up as a new post. :(

Again, I apologize.

This topic merits a revisiting. By now, the announcement that memberships are devoid of fees should be common knowledge. I've taken the plunge into becoming a Tour Player, and have checked the proper options on the LSPN website. All I see in-game is the same FREE tournaments as before. Nothing seems to have changed. What gives? (i.e. please help).

Current event options, choose what you'll see inside game.
Also under your My account tab add your preference for handicap option. So if you select pro you'll only be able to play handicap at pro unless you change it. You'll need to play 12 rds of CLSC or PLSA events b4 handicap appears.
Common sense and common courtesy two things this world needs more of.

That does not help. It only confuses.

How can one play in an event that is not visible/available in-game?

This is perhaps the death of Links, moving forward.
