pics can't be displayed

I deleted links,re-installed it, and it did put all those pics back into the ProgramData file.

Well, that's good! I do hope that you actually uninstalled Links, not delete it.

I did . Thru the control panel I clicked uninstall, it did ,I re-installed it, ran the patches , then signed in .
