Robert, I don't want to sound like a wise-a**, but I wouldn't think it would hurt to try. Mark's good! He might have fixed other issues by accident.

I'm running Vista Home Premium, SP2, BFG GeForce (nVidia) GT 220, 1 gig memory, video card. I just applied Mark's final patch and it seems to have fixed the crashing problem I had with all 3 Latrobe courses. They were all crashing at the 1st hole tee shot, now they're not. I also had crashing problems on Troon North and Bighorn this winter. Have not tried them yet. Bob

Excellent job Mark. Is there anyway that at the higher resolution you could make the swingmeter larger? I know it says it is using the larger meter but at the very high resolution it looks like the size of a dime.

Hey Mark,
Loaded patch with the following results.

If you recall I have a GeForce GT 330.

Existing situation is common to most, I can get into 'Online' games, but only the ones that we've already noted that work in Win 7 (ie Melbourne).

After loading patch I can play courses that previously would not load (ie Bay Hill), but only in 'Play Golf' mode. Once I go 'Online' I get past the "Welcome to the Winter etc...." into connect and crash.

Once I reload V1.07 I can get back into 'Online' and play courses again but will crash if I try to get back into Bay Hill or other similar.??

Half way there methinks

I have an HP with Win 7(x64) with an integrated NVidia video card. I applied the patch and the size of the Links MMIII file is right but the date is 3/30/10 rather than 3/24/10. Also, when I go online in Links and check the conditions of a tournament, the first round is OK but when I check the conditions of the second round, Links terminates. Any suggestions ?

I had a crash and I have windows 7 and I used the patch but are there other patches that I must use to play in the tournaments. I can't log on and I get an error message.

greetings, fr, long time no see! v1.07 will change your registry to point to the correct game server. if you're unable to login, goto the registry, search for 'links 2003', and change this server setting in all instances (i think it may appear twice):

My files do not have most of what you show so somehow I am not downloading anything that is right. I do not know how to copy my file and print it here but I can play the game bud do not have the Links Tour File pluse some of the others.

Currently, I am using an ATI 4670 hd card, I do have occasional crashes, with links reporting memory allocation error, or other type of memory error (looking for 1 byte,....). Will this fix be also good if using an ATI, could it help general memory errors with Links ?

no one knows for sure, johny. i play on a variety of machines, and i don't load the crash fix patch. but then, links has rarely crashed on me. be a trailblazer, load the crash fix patch even on your ati machine, and see if it makes a difference.

sidenote: wow, post number 7777! and it was profound! (8=
