Mouse Problems

Postby MasterMontgomery on Wed May 25, 2022 8:40 am

This problem started about 2 to 3 weeks ago. The mouse was
giving me double clicks at the top, or 1 click at the top then none at the
bottom. It was a mess just trying to finish a tourney. Even in ammy, if the second
click does not register then the iron shot goes much further than you want. I have restarted
many times. My scoring has become very bad. I was using a Microsoft optical mouse. So i removed
it and have tried another microsoft, a new Lenovo, and a New Dell. They all do the
same thing. I have run the mouse troubleshooter but all seems well.
Im lost on this one, so any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Doug, are all these wireless mice? I still use an old Microsoft wired USB mouse and have never had any problems.

Just a hunch.

They are all wired. If I tap
Them firmly it helps. But
What a mess.

Just wondering, have you tried plugging in to a different socket?

Yes i tried that, but i did read where the left clicker on a
wired mouse goes thru the keyboard. Like a stuck key etc.
Anyway, i will just have to keep tapping it hard an hope.
Thanks for the idea .

The problem has continued. It is somewhat different now.
When i first click the left button, it registers at about 730 or 8.
I have tried different mice, ports, players etc but it happens
with all. Not every round i play but a good 70% of them. It ends
up costing me about 5 to 8 strokes per tourney. If i tee off
and it happens that is the worst. Could go in water, deep rough
whatever. One strange thing is that it never has happened on
a chip or a putt. Always while teeing off or the 2nd or 3rd shot.
Anyway, thought i would share.

Doug, do you 2 or 3 click. I have always 2 clicked. Meaning I clink and hold down the click to the power I want, let off and then click on the 6. Well, some times...

I have always 3 clicked.
But the first click it just stops
around 8. Maybe once a round
or every other round. The 2
Click sounds interesting.
I did go to the driving range
an hit 200 drives. An, it
never happened once.

No idea

Didn't seem to hurt you in the PLSA. Nice last round. There are some holes with those greens if you get on the wrong side of the hole you have a tough putt.

Nice tourney Doug... :D

Thanks Jim. Only happened once.
That was in the 3rd round. A short
par 4 an I made par.
But if you look at the plsa ammy.
I have 2 players with multiple
mouse hiccups. Was going to
finish with mm but it got to bad.
Never was going to finish with dmm.
Just seeing if the mouse issue
was better.
But yes pro plsa was my
best pro tourney in a long time.
An I agree with you about the
putts. There are some sides not to
be on
