How do I save my links 2003 file for a new computer

Postby Drpinseeker on Wed Jan 27, 2010 3:01 am

I recently bought a new computer and I want to transfer my Links 2003 file with all my courses to it. Any suggestions? Would I do a data file? Burn it on a CD or CD's? Thanks Drpinseeker

If your old computer still working you could get a transfer cable and do a hook up and transfer any files/folders over.
Or burn them to dvd/cd or flash drive. Or if you have a external drive move them over there.
Either way it will take a little time.
If you decide to burn to cd, depending on how many courses you have, you may only get 8-12 courses on 1 based on course size
Common sense and common courtesy two things this world needs more of.

A good rule is to reinstall programs & transfer data.

Thanks guys. I think I will get the transfer cable and reinstall 2003 on my new computer, then transfer the 2003 file over.
