unable to join a game

When I try to join a game room I download the file and open it and keep getting this dialog box...

" the Directplay game could not be launched: 887703f2 Failed to start application"

Anyone seen this b4 or Know how to help ?
I'm using firefox and have completed the portforwarding instructions ?

Hit run.....then run again........don't open anything

I'm using firefox and it gives the 'open' option only
If I right click on the file on the desktop I get 'the run as' option but still fails !

Maybe I try with internet xplorer ?

Tried internet xlorer with same error !

Sounds like a router problem or maybe firewall problem -- tryandtyoneon is the one to talk to about that.

Maybe he clicked on the while actually in the game lobby and saw all the old instructions on how to join / host a game in the game lobby when it was once called "match maker"
